What is CVE-2025-32058?

A vulnerability in the Bosch Infotainment ECU allows an attacker with code execution on the infotainment system's main SoC to exploit the custom protocol used for CAN communication. This flaw enables the attacker to manipulate the RH850 module, potentially sending arbitrary CAN messages over the connected CAN bus. This presents significant risks for the vehicle's operations and safety, especially for models such as the 2020 Nissan Leaf ZE1.
