What is CVE-2025-32856?
A SQL injection vulnerability exists in Siemens' TeleControl Server Basic, affecting all versions prior to 3.1.2.2. The flaw is located in the 'LockBufferingSettings' method, which is utilized internally by the application. An authenticated remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to bypass authorization controls, enabling them to read and write directly to the database. Furthermore, this attack could allow the execution of code with permissions equivalent to 'NT AUTHORITY\NetworkService'. Accessing port 8000 on the target system is a prerequisite for executing the attack, making it imperative for users to upgrade to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
