What is CVE-2025-34047?

A path traversal vulnerability has been identified in Leadsec SSL VPN, formerly known as Lenovo NetGuard. This issue allows unauthenticated attackers to exploit the ostype parameter in the /vpn/user/download/client endpoint, enabling them to read arbitrary files from the underlying system. The vulnerability stems from insufficient input validation, allowing attackers to utilize traversal sequences that bypass the designated directory restrictions and access sensitive files that should be protected.
