What is CVE-2025-34066?

An improper certificate validation vulnerability has been identified in AVTECH IP cameras, DVRs, and NVRs. This issue arises from the utilization of wget with the '--no-check-certificate' option in crucial scripts such as SyncCloudAccount.sh and SyncPermit.sh. As a result, HTTPS communications are susceptible to interception by attackers, allowing for potential man-in-the-middle (MITM) attacks that can compromise sensitive data and network security.
