What is CVE-2025-34099?
An unauthenticated command injection vulnerability is present in selected versions of VICIdial, specifically in the vicidial_sales_viewer.php component when password encryption is activated. This vulnerability arises because the application fails to properly sanitize the HTTP Basic Authentication password before using it in an exec() call. As a result, this flaw allows remote attackers to inject and execute arbitrary operating system commands, potentially compromising the web server's security.
