What is CVE-2025-34265?

The Advantech WISE-DeviceOn Server versions prior to 5.4 are vulnerable to a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) issue. This vulnerability arises from improper HTML sanitization of rule fields like min, max, and unit when an authenticated user creates or modifies a rule. Malicious scripts can be injected into these fields and are executed in the browser of users who later view the affected rules, potentially leading to session hijacking and unauthorized actions in their context.
