What is CVE-2025-3483?
A significant vulnerability exists in the MedDream PACS Server relating to DICOM file parsing, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on compromised systems. The flaw arises from insufficient validation of the size of user-supplied data before it is copied into a fixed-length stack-based buffer. This lack of validation may permit attackers to exploit the vulnerability without needing authentication, leading to unauthorized access and potential control over the affected systems.
