What is CVE-2025-35050?

Newforma Info Exchange (NIX) is vulnerable through the '/remoteweb/remote.rem' endpoint, accepting serialized .NET data. This flaw permits a remote, unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code with 'NT AUTHORITY\NetworkService' privileges. Since the exploited NIX can compromise associated systems like Newforma Project Center Server (NPCS), remediation measures include restricting network access to the vulnerable endpoint. Implementing access controls, such as utilizing the IIS URL Rewrite Module, is essential to minimize these risks.
