What is CVE-2025-36512?
A vulnerability has been identified in the Bloomberg Comdb2 8.1 database, which can lead to a denial of service attack when processing distributed transaction heartbeats. An attacker can exploit this by connecting to a database instance via TCP and sending a specially crafted protocol buffer message, resulting in potential disruptions to service.
