What is CVE-2025-3891?

A flaw has been identified in the mod_auth_openidc module for the Apache HTTP Server that permits a remote, unauthenticated attacker to induce a denial of service. This vulnerability arises when the OIDCPreservePost directive is enabled, allowing the attacker to send an empty POST request that causes the server to crash consistently, leading to significant availability issues.
