Summary

A vulnerability in libsoup allows cookies to be incorrectly set for public suffix domains when the domain comprises at least two components and contains an uppercase character. This misconfiguration bypasses essential safety mechanisms designed to protect public suffix domains, potentially enabling malicious sites to manipulate cookie settings for domains without ownership. This could lead to serious integrity issues such as session fixation, putting users' data at risk.
