CVE-2025-40681
5.1MEDIUM
What is CVE-2025-40681?
A Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability has been identified in xCally's Omnichannel version 3.30.1, allowing attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript code in the context of a victim's browser. By crafting a malicious URL that leverages the 'failureMessage' parameter in the '/login' endpoint, attackers can potentially steal sensitive information, including session cookies, or carry out actions impersonating the user. This poses a serious risk to user confidentiality and integrity within the affected application.
