What is CVE-2025-40902?

A vulnerability has been identified within the Users functionality where improper validation of an input parameter allows an authenticated user with administrative privileges to create a malicious user with a username containing HTML tags. When other users attempt to delete a group that includes this affected user, the injected HTML may render in their browser. This could facilitate phishing attacks and potential open redirect exploits. However, full XSS exploitation and direct information disclosure are mitigated by existing input validation measures and the configuration of the Content Security Policy.
