What is CVE-2025-41700?

An issue has been identified in the CODESYS Development System that allows an unauthenticated attacker to exploit a manipulated project file. By tricking a local user into opening a compromised CODESYS project file, an attacker can execute arbitrary code within the context of that user. This poses a serious risk, as it could lead to unauthorized actions and potential system compromise.
