What is CVE-2025-42981?

An open redirect vulnerability in SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP allows an unauthenticated attacker to manipulate URL links. If a victim inadvertently clicks a malicious link, the embedded script executes in their browser, leading to unauthorized redirection to a site controlled by the attacker. This exploit can compromise the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information accessed via the web client, even though it does not impact data availability.
