What is CVE-2025-43566?

ColdFusion versions 2025.1, 2023.13, and 2021.19, as well as earlier versions, are susceptible to a Path Traversal vulnerability. This flaw allows high-privileged attackers to bypass security restrictions and gain unauthorized read access to the file system. Exploiting this vulnerability does not necessitate user interaction and can change the security scope, posing serious risks to the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive data.
