What is CVE-2025-43781?

A reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in Liferay Portal versions 7.4.3.110 through 7.4.3.128 and Liferay DXP versions 2024.Q3.1 through 2024.Q3.8, 2024.Q2.0 through 2024.Q2.13, and 2024.Q1.1 through 2024.Q1.12. This vulnerability enables remote attackers to craft a malicious URL that injects arbitrary web scripts or HTML into the application's search bar portlet, compromising the integrity of user sessions and potentially allowing further actions on behalf of affected users.
