Insecure Direct Object Reference in Liferay Portal and DXP

What is CVE-2025-43803?
An Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) vulnerability exists in the Contacts Center widget of Liferay Portal versions 7.4.0 through 7.4.3.119 and in Liferay DXP versions 2023.Q4.0 through 2023.Q4.6, allowing remote attackers to gain unauthorized access to sensitive contact information. This can include the contact’s name and email through manipulation of the _com_liferay_contacts_web_portlet_ContactsCenterPortlet_entryId parameter. Users running affected or older unsupported versions are at risk and should take immediate steps to secure their systems.
