What is CVE-2025-43820?

Multiple cross-site scripting vulnerabilities exist in the Calendar widget of Liferay Portal versions 7.4.3.35 to 7.4.3.110 and Liferay DXP versions 2023.Q4.0 to 2023.Q4.4 as well as earlier 2023.Q3.1 to 2023.Q3.6 releases. These vulnerabilities arise when remote attackers exploit crafted payloads, which can be injected through user-defined fields such as First Name, Middle text, or Last Name during event invitations. This can lead to arbitrary web script or HTML execution, compromising the integrity of user data and system security.
