What is CVE-2025-43855?

An improper error handling vulnerability in tRPC versions from 11.0.0 to 11.1.0 allows unauthenticated users to crash the WebSocket server. The vulnerability arises when invalid connection parameters are validated, leading to an unhandled error that brings down the server. This affects any tRPC 11 WebSocket server configured with a createContext method. The issue has since been resolved in version 11.1.1.
