What is CVE-2025-46568?
Prior to version 0.45.0, Stirling-PDF, a locally hosted web application used for manipulating PDF files, is susceptible to SSRF that enables attackers to read arbitrary files on the server. This vulnerability allows an attacker to exploit the WeasyPrint feature which processes HTML tags such as img and embed, thereby allowing access to sensitive server files, potentially exposing critical information such as configuration files. Users of Stirling-PDF should upgrade to version 0.45.0 to mitigate this issue.
