What is CVE-2025-46719?
Open WebUI, a self-hosted AI platform, has a vulnerability that allows JavaScript injection into chat messages before version 0.6.6. This flaw can enable attackers to execute malicious code in a user’s browser when a chat transcript is opened, potentially leading to unauthorized access and control over user accounts. If an attacker targets an admin user, they may exploit this to achieve Remote Code Execution on the server. Additionally, the vulnerability affects chat transcripts shared within the community, posing further risks. The issue has been patched in version 0.6.6.
