What is CVE-2025-46812?
Trix, a popular WYSIWYG rich text editor, is susceptible to Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks caused by a flaw in versions earlier than 2.1.15. This vulnerability allows an attacker to manipulate users into pasting harmful code that can execute arbitrary JavaScript within the user's session context. As a result, this may lead to unauthorized actions or exposure of sensitive information. Users are strongly encouraged to upgrade to version 2.1.15 or later to mitigate this security risk.
