What is CVE-2025-47711?

A vulnerability exists in the nbdkit server that can lead to a denial-of-service scenario. When a client sends a request for a large data range, if a plugin responds with an excessively large data block, it can trigger a severe internal error within the nbdkit server. This flaw can disrupt service availability, making the server unable to respond to legitimate requests effectively.
