What is CVE-2025-48730?

A vulnerability exists in several versions of QNAP operating systems due to the use of externally-controlled format strings. This allows remote attackers who gain administrator access to exploit the vulnerability, potentially leading to unauthorized access to sensitive data or manipulation of memory. The issue has been addressed in QTS version 5.2.6.3195 build 20250715 and later, as well as QuTS hero version h5.2.6.3195 build 20250715 and later.
