What is CVE-2025-48949?
Navidrome, an open source web-based music collection server, is vulnerable to an SQL injection attack due to improper input validation of the role parameter in the API endpoint /api/artist. This vulnerability enables attackers to inject arbitrary SQL commands, potentially allowing unauthorized access to the backend database and compromising sensitive user information. Users are advised to upgrade to version 0.56.0, which contains a patch to address this issue.
