DataEase Business Intelligence Tool Vulnerability in Open Source Software
CVE-2025-48999
What is CVE-2025-48999?
DataEase, an open source business intelligence and data visualization tool, contains a vulnerability that allows bypassing a patch from a previous security issue. In versions prior to 2.10.10, a crafted payload can exploit the getUrlType() function, which retrieves the hostName. The underlying judgment statement's logic can lead to a failure in filtering malicious input. Consequently, attackers can construct harmful JDBC statements by concatenating payloads directly, thereby compromising the system. It is crucial for users to upgrade to version 2.10.10 or later to mitigate this issue.
