What is CVE-2025-49001?
DataEase, an open source business intelligence and data visualization tool, is susceptible to a vulnerability that allows users to forge JSON Web Tokens (JWTs). This occurs because secret verification does not function correctly in versions prior to 2.10.10. As a result, malicious actors can exploit this oversight to potentially gain unauthorized access to sensitive data. Users are strongly encouraged to update to version 2.10.10 or later to mitigate this risk. No known workarounds are available for this vulnerability.
