What is CVE-2025-49003?
DataEase is an open-source business intelligence and data visualization tool that presents a vulnerability allowing remote code execution due to a flawed character conversion process in Java. Specifically, characters such as 'ı' and 'ſ' are improperly converted to 'I' and 'S' respectively. By exploiting this issue with a specially crafted message, a malicious actor may gain control over the affected system. This vulnerability was addressed in version 2.10.11 of DataEase, with no available workarounds prior to the fix.
