What is CVE-2025-50183?

A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability exists in the OpenList Frontend UI component, affecting versions prior to 4.0.0-rc.4. This flaw allows files with a .py extension containing JavaScript code wrapped in tags to be processed and executed as HTML in certain contexts. If exploited, this could lead to the execution of malicious scripts, compromising user data and application integrity. The issue has been addressed in the release of version 4.0.0-rc.4, which mitigates the risk associated with this vulnerability.
