Authorization Header Logging Vulnerability in RabbitMQ by Pivotal
CVE-2025-50200
6.7MEDIUM
What is CVE-2025-50200?
In RabbitMQ versions prior to 4.0.8, the system logs authorization headers in plaintext format encoded in base64 when the API is queried using HTTPS with basic authentication. This logging behavior includes sensitive credentials, which can be easily decoded and exploited, potentially allowing unauthorized access to the system. To mitigate this vulnerability, upgrading to version 4.0.8 or later is recommended.
