CORS Misconfiguration in Nginx Proxy Manager Affects Data Security
CVE-2025-50579
5.3MEDIUM
What is CVE-2025-50579?
A configuration flaw in Nginx Proxy Manager v2.12.3 permits unauthorized domains to access sensitive information, including JWT tokens. This occurs due to inadequate validation of the Origin header, allowing attackers to exploit the misconfiguration. Malicious actors can employ simple browser scripts to intercept these tokens and transmit them to a remote server under their control, potentially allowing unauthorized actions within the application.
