What is CVE-2025-5095?

The Burk Technology ARC Solo device features a serious authentication bypass in its password change functionality. An attacker can exploit this flaw to send unauthorized requests directly to the device's HTTP endpoint, allowing a password change request to be processed without the need for valid credentials. The system lacks necessary authentication measures, enabling an unauthorized party to take control of the device and potentially compromise its operations without detection.
