What is CVE-2025-5162?
A serious vulnerability has been identified in the H3C SecCenter SMP-E1114P02 Security Management Platform, whereby remote attackers can exploit an unrestricted file upload flaw through the manipulation of specific arguments in the /safeEvent/importFile/ functionality. This poses significant risks as it allows potential unauthorized access and execution of malicious files on the server. Despite early notifications to the vendor regarding this issue, there has been no response, raising concerns about the security maintenance of the affected product.
