Stored XSS Vulnerability in Chamilo Learning Management System by Chamilo Foundation
CVE-2025-52470
What is CVE-2025-52470?
In prior versions of the Chamilo Learning Management System, particularly before version 1.11.30, a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability was identified in the script session_category_add.php. This flaw stems from inadequate sanitization of user input in the Category Name field, which allows privileged users to embed malicious JavaScript code. The pose significant risks, as the injected script can execute when users access add_many_sessions_to_category.php, potentially compromising administrative sessions and exposing sensitive data. Users are strongly encouraged to update to version 1.11.30 or later to mitigate this risk.
