What is CVE-2025-52853?

A null pointer dereference vulnerability affects several versions of the QNAP operating system, which can allow a remote attacker with administrator credentials to execute a denial-of-service (DoS) attack. Successful exploitation disrupts service availability, necessitating urgent resolution. The issue has been addressed in QTS 5.2.6.3195 build 20250715 and later, as well as in QuTS hero h5.2.6.3195 build 20250715 and later.
