What is CVE-2025-52862?
A NULL pointer dereference vulnerability has been identified in certain versions of the QNAP operating system, which can potentially be exploited by remote attackers who have gained administrative access. This flaw allows assailants to carry out denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, disrupting service availability. Affected users are advised to upgrade to QTS 5.2.6.3195 build 20250715 or later, as well as QuTS hero h5.2.6.3195 build 20250715 or subsequent versions to mitigate this risk.
