What is CVE-2025-52998?

Chamilo, a widely used learning management system, is susceptible to a deserialization vulnerability that allows attackers to spoof data. This flaw enables the creation of objects from arbitrary classes, giving attackers full control over these objects' properties. As a result, malicious users can alter the logic of the web application's functionality, potentially leading to unauthorized access or data manipulation. The issue has been rectified in version 1.11.30.
