What is CVE-2025-53085?

A vulnerability in the SAIL Image Decoding Library's PSD RLE Decoding functionality can lead to memory corruption when processing specifically crafted .psd files. This can result in a heap-based buffer overflow, allowing attackers to execute arbitrary code remotely. To exploit this flaw, an attacker must manipulate the library into reading a malicious file, potentially compromising the security of systems that utilize this library.
