What is CVE-2025-5324?

A memory leak vulnerability has been identified in TechPowerUp GPU-Z version 2.23.0. The issue arises within the GPU-Z.sys component, specifically in the sub_140001880 function, which handles IOCTL commands for the product. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability locally, potentially leading to informative data exposure and system instability. Despite early disclosure to TechPowerUp, no response has been received from the vendor regarding this serious issue.
