What is CVE-2025-53530?
The WeGIA web manager, used by charitable institutions, has a vulnerability that allows for excessively long HTTP GET requests due to inadequate validation of the errorstr parameter's length. This flaw permits URLs up to 8,142 characters to be processed, leading to significant resource consumption and increased latency. Such conditions may result in timeouts and read errors, rendering the server vulnerable to Denial of Service (DoS) attacks. The issue is addressed in version 3.3.0.
