What is CVE-2025-53644?

OpenCV, a widely-used open source computer vision library, contains a flaw in its handling of JPEG images prior to version 4.12.0. This vulnerability is due to an uninitialized pointer variable on the stack, which can potentially allow for arbitrary heap buffer writes when processing specially crafted JPEG files.
