What is CVE-2025-53923?
Emlog, an open-source website building system, contains a vulnerability that allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary web scripts or HTML due to inadequate input sanitization of the keyword parameter. Attackers can exploit this flaw to inject malicious HTML/JS code into the keyword parameter. If successfully leveraged, an attacker can trick an admin user into clicking on a prepared link, which can then execute JavaScript code in their browser, leading to potential security breaches. As of the latest information, there are no patched versions available to mitigate this risk.
