What is CVE-2025-5407?

A vulnerability exists in Chaitak-Gorai Blogbook which allows an attacker to exploit the /register_script.php file resulting in cross-site scripting (XSS). By manipulating the 'fullname' argument, an attacker can execute arbitrary scripts and potentially gain control over user sessions or redirect users to malicious sites. This exploitation can be carried out remotely, posing a severe threat to users and requiring immediate attention to secure the application. Despite attempts to notify the vendor, there has been no response concerning mitigation measures.
