What is CVE-2025-54174?
QuickCMS is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) in its article creation feature. This flaw allows a malicious attacker to exploit the system by crafting a specially designed webpage. If an administrator unwittingly visits this page, it can trigger an automatic POST request that creates a harmful article with content specified by the attacker. Although only QuickCMS version 6.8 has been verified as vulnerable, it is crucial to note that other versions may also be affected, raising significant security concerns.
