What is CVE-2025-54373?
OpenEMR, a free and open-source electronic health records and medical practice management application, has a flaw in versions prior to 7.0.4. This vulnerability allows unauthorized users to access and potentially modify sensitive data, such as Clinical Notes and Care Plans marked with high sensitivity. Users lacking appropriate high-sensitivity privileges can inadvertently view this confidential information, posing significant risks to patient privacy and data integrity. The issue is addressed in version 7.0.4, which restricts access to sensitive content based on user privileges.
