What is CVE-2025-54486?

A vulnerability exists in The Biosig Project's libbiosig within the MFER parsing functionality. Specifically, a stack-based buffer overflow is triggered when processing a specially crafted MFER file. This flaw on line 8824 of biosig.c can lead to arbitrary code execution if an attacker provides a malicious file.
