What is CVE-2025-54568?
Akamai Rate Control alpha prior to 2025 is susceptible to an improper rate measurement issue, allowing attackers to exceed request thresholds by sending excessive requests, as the rate limits are calculated individually for each edge node. This misconfiguration may lead to potential abuse and disrupt normal application functions, posing significant risks to system integrity and availability.
