What is CVE-2025-54803?

A prototype pollution vulnerability exists in the js-toml parser for JavaScript prior to version 1.0.2. This flaw allows remote attackers to exploit maliciously crafted TOML input, which can add or modify properties of the global Object.prototype, potentially leading to unexpected behavior in applications that rely on js-toml for parsing configuration. The vulnerability has been addressed in version 1.0.2.
