What is CVE-2025-5498?

A deserialization vulnerability exists in the slackero phpwcms Custom Source Tab component that affects versions prior to 1.9.46 and 1.10.9. The flaw arises during the handling of the cpage_custom argument in the file include/inc_lib/content/cnt21.readform.inc.php, particularly within the file_get_contents and is_file functions. If exploited, this vulnerability allows remote attackers to manipulate data, leading to potential unauthorized actions and exposure.
